Organic flaxseed flour

Sugar-free and perfect for low-carb nutrition: flaxseed flour is made from the press cake left over from flaxseed oil production. Fresh flaxseeds are cold-pressed, and the remaining seeds are finely ground into flour. The press cake still contains around 12 g flaxseed oil per 100 g, is low in carbohydrates and rich in fibre.

Flaxseed flour has excellent swelling properties and is ideal for bread doughs and baked goods. Up to 10-20% of the conventional flour in a recipe can be replaced with flaxseed flour. Because it swells strongly, the liquid quantity should be increased slightly.

It is also popular as a vegan egg substitute: mix one tablespoon of flaxseed flour with three tablespoons of water for one egg replacement.

The flour is a natural product with no added colourings, preservatives or other additives. Store cool, well sealed and use opened flour within 6-8 weeks if possible.
