The origin of Sangokorallen
These special marine corals originate from Japan. There, they are found only in the vicinity of the island of Okinawa. The island’s inhabitants are exceptionally fit and live to a ripe old age. This fact was first noticed by the Japanese man Nobuo Someya as early as the 1950s.
Someya investigated the matter and discovered that the key difference compared to other regions lay in the drinking water. The water, enriched with marine corals, proved to be exceptionally pure and pleasant-tasting.
The island of Okinawa is situated on what was once a coral reef. When it rains, the water seeps into the coral mountains, releasing large quantities of minerals and trace elements that can be detected in the drinking water.
The Island of Centenarians
In 1980, the editor-in-chief of the Guinness Institute was sent to the island of Okinawa. The aim was to interview the world’s oldest living person there. Shigshio Izumi was found to be 115 years old, fit and cheerful.
The man spoke of his active life. Izumi had even worked regularly right up until he was 105. The elderly man died in 1986. He lived to the age of 121 and is just one example of the large number of fit elderly people who seem to be concentrated on the island of Okinawa.

If you buy Sangokorallen in Switzerland, you need not have any concerns. These marine corals pose no environmental risk. When the corals are harvested, the reefs remain unharmed. Only parts that have already broken off the coral reef are used.
Extraction and processing take place under government supervision. You are receiving a natural and environmentally friendly product.
Sango corals as a source of calcium and magnesium
These marine corals are a good source of minerals. A daily dose of 2.4 grams of coral powder contains 576 milligrams of calcium and 266 milligrams of magnesium. This provides over half of the daily requirement for calcium. Sangokoralle can even cover almost the entire daily requirement for magnesium.
Furthermore, marine coral contains the following trace elements:
- Iron
- Chromium
- Sulphur
- Iodine
- Silicon
Sea coral not only contains important minerals, it also provides them in an ideal ratio. Only when the 2:1 ratio is maintained can the body optimally absorb and metabolise these substances.
What forms are available?
Generally, marine coral is available in the following forms:
- Capsules
- Powder
- Tablets
When you buy Sangokoralle from our shop, you can choose between capsules and powder:
- Sangokoralle capsules: Each pack contains 180 capsules. Each capsule contains 1,100 milligrams of marine coral in an optimal 2:1 ratio. The coral powder is enclosed in a vegetable-based capsule shell.
- Sangokoralle powder: We offer the powder in various pack sizes. One jar contains 120 grams, which is a one-month supply of coral powder. A measuring spoon is included to make dosing easier. You can also buy the coral powder in a 500-gram pack as a convenient and value-for-money four-month supply. We also offer ‘Calcium Kids’, a 120-gram jar of laboratory-tested Sangokoralle powder for children. The powder contains no additives or anti-caking agents and can be stirred into any drink.
What should you bear in mind when taking Sangokoralle?
Firstly, you need to choose a product. Capsules should be taken with plenty of liquid and swallowed whole. The capsule shell dissolves in the gut, releasing the active ingredient. If you find it difficult to swallow capsules, coral powder is the better choice. You’ll need to measure out the powder yourself and can stir it into a drink of your choice. Our products dissolve very well in water and have no taste of their own.
Taking coral powder correctly
You must measure out the coral powder yourself. You should take five measuring spoons daily. This corresponds to 3,500 milligrams of coral powder. The product dissolves easily and can be stirred into water, tea or juice. It is recommended that you take the marine coral on an empty stomach wherever possible.
The Power of Nature
Sango coral naturally supplies the body with minerals. This special type of algae is found exclusively in the waters near the Japanese island of Okinawa. Rainwater washes the minerals out of the coral mountains surrounding the island. The harvesting of the marine coral is carried out in accordance with strict guidelines.
There is no overexploitation of the reef, as only broken-off pieces of coral are used. In our shop, you can buy the marine coral in capsule or powder form. We offer various pack sizes with precise dosage instructions.
