In Ayurveda, Shatavari is traditionally described as a plant especially associated with women. The name of this Indian asparagus can be translated roughly as "a woman who possesses a hundred men".
Our organic powder is obtained from the strong rootstock of the shatavari plant. After harvesting, the roots are only cleaned, dried and finely ground. No colourings, preservatives or additives are added.
You receive a completely natural product that is ideal for traditional enjoyment, stirred into ghee or milk.
