About MCT oil

MCT stands for medium-chain triglycerides. This organic MCT oil is obtained from organic coconut oil and contains medium-chain fatty acids, especially caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10).

Use

MCT oil is best used in cold foods and drinks. Add it to muesli, yoghurt, bowls, salad dressings, shakes, smoothies, dips or coffee. It should not be used for frying or baking, as the fatty acids are not very heat-stable.

Properties

The oil is neutral in taste, vegan, gluten-free and suitable for ketogenic, paleo and low-carb diets. Start with a small amount and increase slowly if desired. Do not exceed the recommended daily amount.

Quality and storage

This MCT oil is produced mechanically from 100% organic coconut oil without unnecessary additives, colors or preservatives. Store protected from light, but not in the refrigerator, and use soon after opening.
