Reviews FAQs

About flaxseed oil

Our organic flaxseed oil is pressed from small brown flaxseeds from controlled organic cultivation. It has a golden-yellow color and a mild, slightly tart and nutty taste.

Use

Organic flaxseed oil is ideal for cold cuisine. Add it to yoghurt, muesli, shakes, smoothies, salad dressings, cold dips or enjoy it by the spoonful. Do not heat flaxseed oil, as it is sensitive to oxidation.

Production

The oil is produced by gentle first cold pressing at temperatures below 39°C. It is then only coarsely filtered and bottled in UV-protected glass. No additives are added; the oil is not deodorized, bleached or refined.

Storage

Store tightly closed in the refrigerator and use soon after opening.

FAQ

Can flaxseed oil be heated?
