Why this DIY box is the perfect choice

  • Natural and vegan: Made from biodegradable ingredients, free from enzymes, GMOs and other questionable substances.
  • Gentle on skin: Fragrance-free, ideal for people with fragrance allergies, baby laundry, children's clothing and cloth nappies.
  • Sustainable packaging: The box is made from plastic-free materials, including eco-friendly grass paper, 100% recyclable and compostable.

Contents and preparation

The set includes precisely portioned organic ingredients, a handy recipe card and grass paper labels for your own creations. With just a few utensils, such as a kitchen grater, bowl and storage container, the washing powder can be made in about 10 minutes. The total quantity of 700 g is enough for around 35 washes, depending on water hardness and the degree of soiling.

Ingredients:

  • Sodium carbonate
  • Sodium bicarbonate
  • 5-15% soap: Olea Europea Fruit Oil (olive oil)*, Cocos Nucifera Oil (coconut oil)*, Aqua, Sodium Hydroxide, Maris Sal (sea salt)

How do I use the homemade organic detergent?

Depending on soiling, use 1 to 3 tablespoons of washing powder and add it directly to your machine's detergent compartment. It is suitable for all water hardness levels, but not for animal fibres such as wool or silk. For optimal washing, we recommend:

  • Stubborn stains: Pretreat, for example with vegan hello simple curd soap.
  • Dark laundry: Dissolve the powder in a screw-top jar with approx. 100 ml warm water to avoid residues.
  • White laundry: Add citric acid or diluted vinegar essence to the fabric softener compartment for extra brightness.

Focus on sustainability

With only three pure organic ingredients and packaging that is completely plastic-free, this DIY box sets new standards in sustainable laundry care. The environmentally friendly materials reduce energy use during production and make the box a special gift idea for eco-conscious friends and family.

Disposal:

Cardboard and paper bags can simply be disposed of with waste paper. This keeps your ecological footprint minimal.

Experience a new way of doing laundry and choose a fresh, environmentally friendly home with organic washing powder from the DIY box.
